Winter begins to make its presence felt in Kars
In Kars, the air temperature dropped to minus 6 degrees Celsius during the morning hours. Due to the freezing cold, the windows of parked vehicles iced over, leaving drivers to struggle with clearing the ice.
Upon leaving their homes in the morning and reaching their vehicles, drivers were met with frost-covered windows.
Equipped with scrapers and various other tools, residents worked to remove the layer of ice that had formed on the front and rear windshields of their cars.
The freezing weather—felt most intensely during the night and early morning hours—has signaled the clear arrival of winter conditions. In addition to the ice on parked vehicles, frost was also observed in several areas across the city.
